CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Medical Group held a Chili Cookoff on Thursday, Feb. 11, at the hospital. Tiffany Orrell, X-Ray Technician with the Internal Medicine Clinic was declared the winner.
The 12 entries were judged by David Foster, President CHI St. Vincent Medical Group; Tony Houston, President CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, and physicians Kyle Roper, MD; Andrew Grose, MD; and Tom Hollis Jr, MD.
“I just made the recipe up as I went,” Orrell said. “I figured I better write it down or I’ll never remember it.”
The other 11 entries included a Blue Ribbon Award winner and several passed-down family recipes.
