Hot Springs Nurse Honored by Department of Defense for Patriotic Support

Krystal Throgmartin, Emergency Room Supervisor in Hot Springs, was presented with a Patriot Award on September 9, by Rich Green, Arkansas Employer award-blogSupport of the National Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Krystal was nominated for being highly supportive of the National Guard Service by her Reserve Component coworker, Specialist Justin Diggs, a member of the Emergency Room Team. Specialist Diggs is a Combat Medic with the 153rd Infantry which is part of the 39th Brigade, Arkansas Army National Guard.

“The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said Rich Green, Arkansas ESGR. “Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units. Supportive employers like CHI St. Vincent are vital to the success of our mission and the defense of this nation. Our Guard and Reserve members could not perform their military duty without knowing their civilian employer supports them 100 percent.”

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs has been recognized several times for their superb support of the National Guard and Reserve.

Congrats Krystal and thanks for truly living our mission!
