Joy Hill was recognized as a Service Hero in Morrilton for displaying the value of COMPASSION.
Joy was nominated by a coworker who brought her father to the ER in need of urgent help. The patient was losing blood quickly and needed attention.
“Joy could tell when I walked in that I was scared. She was very calm and helped walk me through everything he would need. She went out of her way to make him comfortable and was able to get him in a room very quickly.”
Joy was able to calm other members of the family, including the patient’s mother, who was visibly upset.
“After losing my mom to cancer several years ago, we were all worried, and she made our trip so much better.”
