It’s difficult to get some men to see a doctor – especially if nothing is hurting, missing or broken. But one man, Edmund Berkeley Copeland, was finally convinced he needed to see a doctor because he was blind.
He has his sight back now, and the whole thing could have been avoided. It’s a lesson he learned well and now practices. When he had symptoms of another illness, he made a call to his doctor and was able to get early treatment for prostate cancer.
He’s a Real Men Wear Gowns success story of why men should have a primary care physician.
